Hearing on Climate Science Censorship Tomorrow

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) will release a new report detailing how federal government agencies are censoring global warming science tomorrow, at a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing. Dr. Francesca Grifo, senior scientist and director of the UCS Scientific Integrity Program, will testify before the committee about the findings of the report.

Without strong action to defend science from political interference, our nation will be ill prepared to address the growing issue of global warming. Your representative is on this committee. Please urge your representative to attend the hearing and to ask questions that help educate Congress and the public about ways to restore integrity to federal science. Click here to find your representative's phone number.

Deadline: The hearing is tomorrow, so please call your representative today, Monday, January 29, 2007.
