A lot of Democrats seem to operating under the delusional that a bill with "health care" in its title is better than no bill - even if it screws their base.
7. Saw that thread, but haven't read it yet. But just because it's "better than
Dean's" (whether that's true or not) isn't a reason to pass a bill. Better doesn't necessarily mean good, so if that's his reasoning, I'm not inclined to agree. Thanks!
9. he was playing the 'oh well, we got some stuff, so let's count our candy and move on' game
I hope there is one or two brave Democrats who will see this corporate mess for what it is - and strip out anything that has to do with funding the Insurance companies. And the mandate - that has got to be the most idiotic thing ever - forcing people to participate in an already corrupt and mismanaged system of corporate wallet rape.
He is obviously worn out, but that is no excuse for jumping on Dean while coddling up to Lieberman on Face the Nation - None.
