Video of Bush giving away troop positions in Baghdad
Edited on Sat Apr-21-07 11:48 AM by George Oilwellian
There's a discussion going on in this thread of Bush speaking to a crowd and his backdrop was a detailed picture of troop positions in Baghdad. Keith Olbermann reported on this last night (the only newsman to do so, the others were more focused on Alec Baldwin's telephone conversation with his daughter).

I decided to start a new thread that points us to the video in the hopes it wouldn't get lost in the above thread. If someone has a video-capturing card, PLEASE capture this video before it's scrubbed.

Although the entire segment is damning towards Bush, the troop backdrop can be seen around the 5 minute mark on the video. The link is titled "New Details In Tillman Investigation." (You'll have to sit through a short commercial before video starts).

6. I searched on YouTube and couldn't find it
Edited on Sat Apr-21-07 12:13 PM by George Oilwellian
If someone can capture it with a videocard, I'll be happy to put it up on YouTube.

Edit: On second thought, maybe it wouldn't be wise to put it up on YouTube. I'm not sure I want to help Bush give Al Qaeda our troop positions in Baghdad. Posting it on YouTube would give it worldwide attention. What do you guys think?

2. K&R - and as I posted in the other thread, those that oppose
a time table for troop withdrawal claim it is giving the enemy our war plans, yet this thing that calls himself a leader gives the enemy ariel maps depicting our troop activities.

Can we impeach yet? :grr:

8. GWB's "Geraldo Moment"
Though I believe that Geraldo Rivera has more personal integrity than the Prez. I think that's what's termed "damning with faint praise".

10. John Dean was on K.O.
last night said this is an unbelievably serious breach of security to our troops fighting in Iraq. Is this treason or what?? What was Bush thinking of?

14. The dems need to jump on this though
it is a direct response to his veto promise regarding the funding bill.

His reasoning (or so he publicly claims) is that a withdrawal timetable would be giving our war plans to the enemy. Yet, he uses a detailed ariel map with troop placement to talk up his war, endangering the troops at each location.

Impeach now - high crime of treason is sufficient.

And back to the front page with you.

EDIT: oh well, tried to add a link to the vid, but no luck

I would hope that since this story was covered on broadcast television, it would not be lost. I wish I could snag the vid but I just don't have the tools.
