Anti-Gay church to picket VT gun rampage funerals

The Westboro Baptist Church has announced they will picket the funerals of the 32 victims of the shooting spree at Virginia Tech.

The church are notorious for their anti-gay views, and often protest at the funerals of American military personnel killed in Iraq.

12. They'd probably be found not guilty too

Hard to imagine a jury that doesn't include people truly horrified with what this bunch does. It would be easy for them to believe someone just snapped and rid the world of that group of assholes. If not a "not guilty" verdict, surely a hung jury.

do they picket these funerals and ones of the military?
No only that, what do they hope to accomplish besides negative publicity? The dead are still going to be buried in plots selected by the families.

Be it shot in Iraq or gunned down by a school shooter, then it is either:

1. God's wrath on this gay-loving country (that's why gays are accepted by the majority and can marry)
Or
2. You were secretly gay, and this is God's punishment on you.

These people love the wrath of God (or what they *think* is the wrath of God) and think tragedy to this country should be praised as such.

14. If I were a relative of a victim I would be going to jail.

I just wouldn't be able to stand there while they disrespected my loved one and our family on the day we are saying goodbye. I am a normally non-violent person but I can justify an exception for certain things.
