So the biggest financial reform bill since The Great Depresion gets no repub votes in House
Edited on Fri Dec-11-09 05:25 PM by Stinky The Clown
The headline:

Major makeover of Wall Street regs passes House

The link:

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5g7ffRdswXTlfgaQS0FCOZmrvbwcAD9CHBOMO0

The telling line in the story:

"The vote was a party-line 223-202. No Republicans voted for the bill; 27 Democrats voted against it."

Can we ***please*** stop with this bipartisan bullshit. Not since Bob Michel (the guy before Newt took over) has there been even one whit of willingness for repubs to be bipartisan.

edit to change "white" to "whit" ..... which changes the whole meaning!

1. We seem to need to be hit on the head with a sledgehammer a few times more
Here's hoping the general population is getting the message at least.

3. The message is loud and clear.
They are recalcitrant and not interested in creating any progress.

5. And yet we continue the same behavior, reaching out, and expecting a different result
Shame on us for not shaming on them.

Honestly, I'd expect one of them to vote for health care reform rather than regulating their pals.
