The Duggar's welcome # 19- but she is very premature
http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/chi-091211-duggar-baby-19,0,6781335.story

For the Duggar family, it's now 19 kids and counting. Michelle Duggar delivered a baby girl through an emergency C-section on Thursday evening, People.com reports. Josie Brooklyn weighed one pound, six ounces at the time of birth. Michelle, who was due in March, was airlifted to an Arkansas hospital earlier this week with gallbladder issues.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar star on the TLC reality show "18 Kids and Counting." The couple welcomed their first grandchild--a daughter born to their eldest son, Josh, and his wife, Anna--in October.

5. Indeed - "General" discussion now means things which are not general, we should dump the forum
:)

7. I've noticed that as well.
It's silly that some mods can't see that something like this goes beyond the "Entertainment" aspect and has broader value for discussion.

9. I was relieved to read that the baby was safely delivered via emergency C-section,
because for one brief moment, I seriously entertained the idea that she had simply fallen out.

10. I doubt it. She had a c-section, so I give hubby until the New Year before
he starts banging her again, and I bet she's pregnant with #20 before #19 is home from the hospital.

12. They should have given her a hysterectomy while they were at it.
Her lady parts have to be in tatters with so many pregnancies. That's what happened to the mother of a classmate of mine in high school after mom had her seventeenth. Her uterus was hanging out of her so the doctors went in and took it out to save her life.

17. That could kill her
I am afraid Michelle will die before most of her children are grown. I hope they will reconsider their plan of having as many babies as possible before she goes into menopause.

13. I hope the baby does well; that is *very* small
Having that many babies can't be very healthy for either the mother or the babies.

15. I wouldn't wish this sort of thing on anyone--
Not even the Duggars.

I have a friend who delivered a baby three months early. For the most part, the little boy's doing all right (KNOCK WOOD), but he just had surgery recently. I worry a lot about them both!
