Andre Crawford (the Chicago serial killer) is a bad man who got away with it for years since the cops didn't give a shit about black women dying. It looks the same in Cleveland. And they still haven't caught the LA killer.

What does this mean? Unless you have white victims then nobody in power cares about you.

It seems that regardless of skin color if you're a prostitute or a drug addict your death isn't as important as others who aren't.

There was another serial killer in Canada who killed over 30 women and his victims were also prostitutes.

Try google and you'll instantly find a long list of these guys out there killing white people, so no, it isn't a "race" thing.

3. OP was commenting on the investigators

not the perpetrators. Serial killers are either racist or not, depending on their particular "taste". They tend to profile their targets on the basis of their psychological needs. The OP is suggesting the police are less interested in protecting black victims.

On the surface, this may seem to be true, but there are factors that are not being considered.

Police agencies will play down the presence of a serial killer on their turf, always. Boss cops are *not* promoted for their record of outstanding arrests, they are promoted for political reasons. Like not scaring the straights they're charged with protecting.

With serial killers who prey on the truly helpless and alone, there are fewer relatives and concerned parties that will make a public stink.

Prostitutes tend to be isolated socially, often without family or social networks. It's very likely the homeless are victimized as often or more often: unless the cadaver is left in front of a bank, who's going to know?

If a serial killer has a taste for flaying white college girls, then there's more likely going to be public outrage.


The attitude of police agencies may seem racist in these instances, in fact it's merely self-serving CYA.

Guess I didn't express myself well. :)

I meant, if you google serial killers you will find info regarding their victims and the circumstances around which the serial killer was apprehended. It isn't unusual for serial killers to seek out prostitutes and drug users for the precisely the reasons you state. And even in the case of white victims, you can see that it usually takes a long time for the investigative wheels to start spinning, again for the reasons you state.
