Now, I am just as frustrated as anyone with the health care reform shenanigans. I am a supporter of single-payer, for pete's sake. However, I am not foolish enough to sit back and watch silently, while another generation fails to heed history. If we stay home, and let the GOP back into power, we are giving up on a lot of people, and a lot of worthy communities. Life is messy. Politics is even messier. There is no excuse to hide in an ivory tower of one's choosing.

bans were going to be lifted, McSame would have done it as well. Even the republiks will only go so far to mollify their insane contingent.

Being slightly less bad is not an endorsement and we are still being played. Stem-cells is a great win-win for the corporatists, money for their owners and a fig leaf, to boot.
