After hearing about yet more Iraq bomb blasts, are we just playing no-win whack a mole?

Either the hubris in our military and leaders don't allow them to get it (well, most of them, anyway) - that the very acts we undertake create more and more enemies - and that we are engaged in an endless game of deadly whack a mole.....

Or this is being done by design - that peace and life is secondary to keeping wars going, keeping money pouring into the military.

I fail to understand the logic in very much of what I am seeing these days (be it Afghanistan, Iraq, or the Health Care debate...). Didn't we win the last presidential election? Don't we now have pretty good majorities in the house and senate?

(I know I am mixing several themes into this post, but I can't help it...frustrated beyond clear reason!)

As a deathly chaotic laundry list of bumper-sticker bogeymen they could spin on a wheel like PoliSci/Electioneering line cooks...there never was a focal point. It was always meant to serve the moment maybe here maybe there; and now those moments are indeed occurring-back-at-us as though they've been looking into Cheney/Rumsfeld's plan-less war plan of a mirror mimicking in response maybe here maybe there and republicans up & down the rank, the GOP and their propaganda outlets to the last! - they moan, why is the world 'ultra conservative neocon republicanism and our shit-talk' made thus?

A question seems to be accelerating: do we feel we need a focal point to address, move through and resolve this transition? Stop the wheel from spinning? Change the items on the laundry list? Their priorities? Toss the list? Stop treasonous, deathly chaotic RW tactics & antics? Make new bumper-stickers? Make friends with the bogeymen?
