Aetna to drop half-million insured to meet Wall Street expectations...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/04/aetna-forcing-600000-plus_n_380130.html

Health insurance giant Aetna is planning to force up to 650,000 clients to drop their coverage next year as it seeks to raise additional revenue to meet profit expectations.

I can only hope those being dropped are right-wing assholes who see a public option as infringing on the "free market"....

4. What unimaginable bastards, the insurers and the assholes in congress.

For-profit health "care" is immoral and should be phased out. It's long past time to join the rest of the civilized world on this. The rest of the industrialized world gets universal health care for their taxes, and what *we* get for our taxes is being raped by the corporations, banksters and military-industrial complex.

5. I rarely scream online but...
PEOPLE, HEALTH CARE FOR PROFIT BENEFITS NO ONE BUT THE PROFITEERS. Now, I feel better. Nothing's changed. We're still about to sacrifice the last pennies of the still working class to these monsters but I feel better.

6. They're not actually "forcing" people out, they're just raising premiums.
I have Aetna right now. They're hiking my premium 80% next year.

I'll be switching to Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
