Are Wal-Mart's everyday low prices hurting workers at the company's supplier factories in China? A new report from China Labor Watch suggests they could be. Jesse Russell reports:

Last week New York –based China Labor Watch issued a report that alleges Wal-Mart’s five supplier factories in China subject workers to “illegal and degrading conditions.” The company expects product suppliers to adhere to “rigorous standards,” but according to the report workers were underpaid, sanitation was poor, and overtime was excessive. The report notes that Wal-Mart is kept in the dark about the conditions at the factories due to plant managers falsifying paperwork and strong-arming employees into lying. The report also takes aim at Wal-Mart’s pricing structure. In the company’s attempt to keep prices low the factories are forced to sell goods at unsustainable prices. As a result the factories cut corners on the backs of workers in order to make up for loss. Wal-Mart said that as soon as it learned of the report it began taking steps to address the allegations at the five plants.

2. But But I need a cheap Blu-Ray Player!!!
I am poor and simply do without if it has to come from Wal- Mart! What is funny is I can find cheaper groceries at my Texas based Chain that makes a big point to promote Texas goods . They also pay their employees more than Walmart. Walmart is no friend to working people
