Experts Point to Throttles, Not Floor Mats, in Toyota Incidents
This is no longer LBN, but the AP has picked up the story from the LA Times. This means that many more people will read about it.

Hardly anyone accepts Toyota's explanation involving floor mats after looking at the statistics in these stories.

1. That's the dumbest PR thing I've ever heard outside of the shit the GOP spews.
There have been a bunch of posts in DU about this with comments of "I don't have floor mats in my Toyota".

They're trying to keep the rusty-framed so called "pickup truck" recall quiet too. Several spare tires have dropped out of the things while they were on the highway.

Why can't Toyota just admit they fucked up?
