Fuck You, NCAA Womens’s Volleyball Selection Committee
OK, Who is paying you off?

You seeded Hawaii #12 in the tournament. A team that was ranked #3 by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

That’s right the COACHES! Those who know who is best? Oh, forget them, they don’t know shit! So, who the fuck paid you off? Florida State? Stanford?, or ESPN?

How can you rate a team that only lost 2 games all year and beat your number #4 seed Stanford in 3 games as #12 ?

It’s obvious; you have to be taking money from somebody. Maybe it’s USC! Cause that’s where Hawaii has to play now. On the home court of the lame 21-9 Trojans. Not at the Stan Sherriff Center that has the largest volleyball crowds and one of the winningest teams in the nation.

Bottom line, the NCAA selection committee need an enema, cause they are full of shit!

P.S. let's give a big "Fuck You" to the following people:

Terry Gawlik, University of Wisconsin, Madison, chair
Christine Dawson, Pacific-10 Conference
Cindy Gannon, American University
Keith Gill, University of Wisconsin, Madison
Nona Richardson, University of California, Davis
Janie Penfield, Brigham Young University
Laura Tietjen, Kansas State University
Crista Troester, University of Tulsa
Dawn Turner, Big South Conference
Diane Turnham, Middle Tennessee State University

So, they have to play a "lame" USC team? Sounds like an easy win to me!

I lost all respect for U. Hawaii a few years back when they changed their long-time team nickname from "Rainbow Warriors" to just plain "Warriors" -- because "Rainbow" had acquired a connotation of gay. Can't let people think your football team is made up of anything other than gen-u-wine heterosexual Manly Men, you know!

4. Lots of teams change their names tho. Why should THAT even be an issue?
I think there are many more important issues than what names a team uses. Look at all histories of all team names - most have undergone lots of changes. Just sayin'.

6. Funny thing about associations.
When I hear Rainbow Warrior I think of Greenpeace.

2. Don't get me started on NCAA selection committees
on just about all collegiate sports. FYI, in men's hoops, just because a school is physically located in North Carolina DOES NOT mean that by playing its first rounds in Charlotte said team would be playing a 'home' game when hardly any NCarolinian likes said school/team.

:nuke:

7. Quit your whining. The selection committee gives Duke more than its share of home games
When they put them in the Meadowlands

3. Sometimes the coaches polls are BS too
Take the current football coaches poll:

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/polls?poll=3&week=14

Penn State is ranked 9 and Iowa is ranked 10. Yes, the coaches ranked Penn State ahead of Iowa, despite the fact that Iowa beat Penn State 21-10.

5. Actually you're wrong about the Coaches being more accurate
in ranking teams...

Sports writers are much more astute as to how teams are playing. Hawaii just needs to go out and win---that's all.

8. Coaches seldom actually vote themselves, usually it is an assistant
Plus, if Hawai'i is in the tournament, win the fucking games and then complain. I get so tired of people whining about seedings. You are in the tourney, win the games.
Maybe they should divide the country regionally and run the tourney that way.
BTW -
Does a head coach have time to coach their team AND watch all the others? I doubt it.

12. No they don't...
That's why the AP poll was always the poll most pay attention to.
