CHRISTIAN FORM OF TWITTER - 'CHRISTIAN CHIRP'
Businessman launches ‘Christian Chirp’ after Twitter suspension

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — After posting an article in support of Rush Limbaugh, James Paris was suspended from Twitter two weeks ago. Although his account was reinstated after eight days, Paris decided to start his own Christian version of Twitter called Christian Chirp (www.christianchirp.com). The site was launched Thursday.

NEWS RELEASE

“It was not just the suspension for sharing my conservative views, but I was also receiving a number of very inappropriate messages to a computer that I share with my children,” said Paris. “I decided that enough was enough and that I needed to be a part of the solution, so I started a Christian alternative, Christian Chirp.”

Paris said his version of Twitter will not allow any profanity, vulgar language, or adult content. “We are very serious about keeping this a safe Christian space,” he said.

Paris is not new to Internet properties, he is also the founder of ChristianMoney.com, which is a popular personal finance site for Christians worldwide.

1. How nice.
Let all the delicate Xtians, who are so easily offended and fearful of being tainted by the real world, inhabit their own little universe.

We should encourage this. Maybe, eventually, their own insular world will occupy them enough that they will leave the rest of us alone.

It's wishful thinking, I know, but I still hope.

2. Suspended from Twitter for posting a pro-Limpballs article?

I call bullshit -- cruise through #tcot as an example of conservatives alive and well on Twitter. These folks don't have an original thought in their heads -- they copy everything (CU, PECAN, Conservapedia, etc.).

4. Of course it's a lie. That's what conservatives do -- lie.
The fact is that there's almost no way to avoid the "ditto heads." They're everywhere, including twitter.

This is just a thinly-veiled advertisement for his latest startup. If his experience is anything like the occasional "christian video" shops that you see come and go, it won't last very long.

16. This was in the comments section....
"Mr. James Paris was suspended for posting 232 tweets with links to his story “Why The NFL Was 100% Right In Banning Rush Limbaugh” within two days. This behavior will trigger Twitter’s automatic spam filters. He was not being persecuted for having conservative views. He was being suspended because his account looked like a spammer.

These are all of the tweets related to his suspension, with all but two being posted immediately one after another: http://cromstar.net/jameslparis-spam.txt"
