I've been thinking about the interlopers allowed into
the White House at the State dinner...could it be possible that the "slip up" was intentional as a warning to Obama that he's vulnerable at any time, so he had better watch his policies? People who do not belong in the White House absolutely DON'T get in there under any circumstances, never have that I know of. Period. End of sentence.

1. As my wife recently found out the Serect Service in no longer under
the Treasury Department control but now part of Department of Homeland Security....

Now if you want to take things one step further who chairs the Senate committee for Homeland secuity and Governmental Affairs

DRUM ROLL

Joe Lieberman.

4. I don't know what unrecs means or what you seem to be implying
Edited on Sun Nov-29-09 04:07 PM by redirish28
about my post I'm just saying I doubt this is going to get a review by the senate committee like it would have say if this happened when Bush was in the White House.

5. I meant the unrecommenders. I have no idea why anyone
would bother to unrecommend this thread.

7. It is a valid thread. It does make one think and considering how
sick minds work. This is a scary wake up call.

3. It may not be intended that way
but it does make it pretty damn obvious in my opinion. At any time, at any place persons of questionable intention can just walk right in and shake your hand. Have you got your vest on? Lucrezia Borgia would have had an easy time with him, if she had wanted to... a handshake is really all it takes. I wonder if he has flesh-like impenetrable gloves.

6. I doubt it. the last people you'd use if that were your intent are those
two publicity hounds.

10. They may be publicity hounds but the fact remains that
someone let them in without the proper passes..who and why need to be answered. Things like that don't happen accidentally...not at a State dinner with the President and foreign dignitaries present.
Was the female interloper gracious and fixed a drink for the President? Even shaking hands can be dangerous with a poison like ricin. This a very serious breach of security..the question I raised is "was it an intentional breach to send a message to Obama?"

11. Exactly. anything could have happened.
Just look at recent history. The spy in England who was poisoned by Uranium type stuff. No one knows how he got poisoned with the stuff.

12. Nobody seems to be thinking of the PM of India -- Yikes! If I
were he, I'd be furious. It's not as though India doesn't have any enemies (especially one with nuclear capabilities)

18. I dunno.
These were rich people. They hobnobbed in those circles anyway, from what I understand.
It's not like they just let some random poor people in. That'll never happen.

19. Ha, when I read the title of this post
I thought it referred to the vast number of interlopers here.

Known in previous times as "outside agitators."

Let's see, first it was teabaggers and economic stimuli, then it was health care reform, next up sounds like it is global warming and I am almost positive we will get to abortion and gun control before year's end. Does that sound about right?

Carry on, regardless
