sarah palin's signature--
something I noticed in one of the clips of her "book"-signings--her signature sprawls over nearly the whole page. talk about ego run amouk.

one of our members, who is a graphologist, also noticed and pointed this out in another thread.

I have been to countless book signings, for actual best-selling authors, and have never seen one sign like that.

1. She has to use all six of her brain cells to think about how to write her name.
And I mean EVERY TIME!

2. That may have been me that noticed that about her signature.

I completed a correspondence graphoanalysis course out of Chicago back in the '80s http://www.igas.com/ . I would love to get my hands on a few pages of Sarah's notes or her journal that she's always talking about. A lot can be surmised from the huge signature - her monstrous ego, as you say - but to really get down to the nitty-gritty of her makeup, I'd need a lot more samples.

I used to be quite good at this. I could do multi-page analyses of people I'd never met, from letters and so on, that would amaze people. I had some people I met up at the Tanana Valley Fair in Fairbanks thinking I was some kind of witch or something. Literally, I had them in tears.

3. I studied it years ago, and was generally spot-on in my analysis.
like you, I would have to see more of her writing--making sure to look only at the writing, not the actual content, which would probably make me ill.

7. I think handwriting analysis is fascinating
and vastly underrated as a diagnostic tool. I became interested because I was working with a criminal defense lawyer at the time who used an expert to analyze juror questionnaires. He had a lot of tools and tricks when it came to jury selection, but it was always interesting how people's voir dire responses would line up with the handwriting analyses.

8. Not going to vouch for the authenticity
but I found this note posted online:

Seems to me the note and signature don't match up but I'm no expert.

10. very intereting, and it really does look like two different styles.

11. That isn't her signature
At least it doesn't look like that huge one posted further down.

Folks like her get their underlings to write thank you notes on their behalf and they tell them to sign them.

16. You're right, Merh.
I'm not sure which is genuine, but I would guess that the one on the XBox is the real one since it seems to flow a lot more naturally. Big differences in the S on Sarah, the "r" and the "h." It looks like someone was trying hard to match her signature, but not succeeding. Maybe one of her daughters.

21. I do know she often signed her initials when she was campaigning
I have autographs of a lot of the candidates who ran for president in 2008 in both parties as well as Biden's and Palin's. She signed my sign with her initials.

15. After analysis, I can say with Absolute Certainty
Sarah Palin is a Republicon Homelander. As pathetic and unfortunate as that is, we Americans can help by encouraging her to get a grip, to shut off the Fox Propaganda channel, and try to re-engage with reality and common sense.

9. I noticed that too and evidently
The bigger the signature, especially the first letter of one's name, the more highly one thinks of oneself.

No surprise with Sarah. Her signature, like herself sucks all the air out of the room.

No wonder it's so big.

22.  I've been taking notice of
how people sign their names for years. Nothing complicated, just observing. Invariably those individuals who made a big deal out of their signatures i.e., overly large, scrawling, written to make sure they stand out and are noticed etc.,etc.,were originally, and over the years have continued to be, egotistical assholes to varying degrees. A very few seem to have mellowed out over time and came back down to earth so to speak, and so did their signatures. Just one of my lifetime observations with no in-depth analysis involved.

23. my own handwriting is very small--which, at first glance, one might assume indicates poor self-
esteem. but it also indicates focus and dedication (not to mention it really annoys people) that, and the fact that I am ambidextrous.
