Is there a list of filibusters that have been occuring this year?
While researching the HC filibuster, I have run into a number of articles talking about a number of filibusters that have been occurring at the senate this year, stopping legislation. If this is the case, how come it is getting almost no coverage? Are these the "silent" filibusters you hear about? Does anyone have a link with information about filibusters that have occurred this year? I would imagine others are interested in this as well.

Thanks.

1. Here is what I am referring to: From firedog lake

As the obstructionism has worsened in the Senate – the four agonizing weeks it took for an unemployment insurance bill that eventually won 99-0 on the floor being an example – more and more observers are targeting the filibuster as the main impediment to change, and calling openly for its elimination. This includes CAP blogger Matthew Yglesias, who notes that the filibuster adds another layer of checks and balances onto an already checked and balanced process:

4. Encouraging murder? That's fairly repugnant.
I feel pretty confidant in saying that I doubt Kucinich would approve of such sentiments.

3. There have been zero filibusters. The wording of the piece you quote implies there have been but
doesn't come out and say it.
