I was listening to Ed this morning on the radio
That's what we need...a leader...I could hear the pissed-off American worker in the background. It almost gives me hope the American worker is finally getting fed-up....long past due.
There is nothing wrong with anger..the trick is what you do with it. And the conservatives have been hell-bent to make sure the lower classes are not educated. An educated lower-class is threatening to the power holders.

1. Ed seems to be on fire right now. Almost as if he is trying to grow a movement?

3. What I realized about Ed is that he speaks the language of the heartland.
He can reach people that, say, Keith and Rachel, can't. He has the look of a Rightie and he talks about Middle America populist issues. He even hunts and fishes. He serves a very useful purpose for our side. I'm grateful that he's there.

4. You're right.
He's that rarest of birds--a liberal redneck.

8. Nah. He'll sell ya'll out as soon as listen to ya. It's a ROUTINE. A show. Lift him to
Limbaugh status and he'll say "I'm just an entertainer."

Not trustworthy, IMHO.

11. I have been listening to Ed for years. He has grown and changed
I have to give Ed Schultz credit. When new evidence is presented to him he changes. He was a republican and changed when he saw he was presented with evidence that their beliefs would not hold water in the face of reality.
And then he has moved along the scale of liberalism to where he is today. He is not flat out left on all issues, but I think the beliefs he holds are quite sincere.
Limbaugh on the other hand ------ he is one helluva a highly paid clown.

5. While I LOVE what he says and how he says it most of the time, I must say that he is
waaayyy too quick to shut down a caller with whom he disagrees. The liberal redneck description is apt because he tends to get angry and just talks over the caller and cuts him/her off. I find this to be too Limbaugh-like for my taste. Almost bullying. Not something I like in my leaders.

He'll be yore good buddy as long as you don't dare say something that he doesn't wanna hear FOR WHATEVER REASON. He's another fascist.

10. Ed
What a shame... that is the Bill O' mode ... shame on Ed if he does the same ... I have seen him on TV and seems good to me, but that kind of interaction does not do good to our cause ... Geez!!!
 :grr: :grr: :grr:
