Israel to recognize elections in Honduras
http://en.rian.ru/world/20091129/157026452.html

06:3129/11/2009
BUENOS AIRES, November 29 (RIA Novosti) - Israel became the fifth country to officially announce that it would recognize the results of Sunday's elections in Honduras, the Honduran TV has said.
Many countries and international bodies have warned they would not recognize election results if the Honduran polls are held under Roberto Micheletti's presidency. The interim leader announced on Wednesday he was temporarily stepping down to "guarantee free, spontaneous and transparent" elections.

"The government of Israel hopes that the voting would go on in a calm atmosphere and, in this case, it will recognize its results and the legitimacy of the elected president," Israel's ambassador to the Central American state, Eliahu Lîpez, has said.

The U.S., Peru, Panama and Costa Rica have so far announced they would to recognize the results.

3. These elections are needed to end the political crisis.
They were scheduled before the coup, and need to proceed.

Without the elections there will be a new succession crisis when Zelaya's term expires in January.

4. I think we should set up an independent bipartisan commission to look at the issue
and consider thinking about whether or not to study looking into possibly setting up a phased in recognition of the Honduran elections.

Paging Vernon Jordan, Jim Baker and Lee Hamilton....

6. I can't stand hearing this news. Add to it - Panama, Peru, and Costa Rica.
So take a look at what President Obama and Sec. Clinton have wrought for corporations and our military.

I should not have looked at the news this evening.

I wish all the little people of Honduras some kind of miracle.

11. Little people - those who do the work and are submissive. Those who
are targeted for campaigns of smoke and mirrors. Those who must be submissive and obedient and not ask questions. Those who give their lives for their 'country' which is usually those who profit the most. Those people who could have power, but operate under an illusion that the government is taking care of the country and either they don't know what is going on or can't help themselves out of it. Those who are subjects of pacts between their leaders and outsiders who are very involved in taking the earth resources beneath the feet of the people.

I'm a little people.

10. So, the Death Squads R Us club ("We do it even better") joins together again.
Same as when they/US supported the fascist side in South Africa. Populist leaders in Honduras are found dead every day, and the US and Israel say "Hooray!."
