Iraq Inquiry bombshell: Secret letter to reveal new Blair war lies
Edited on Sat Nov-28-09 09:56 PM by sabra
Source: UK Daily Mail

An explosive secret letter that exposes how Tony Blair lied over the legality of the Iraq War can be revealed.
The Chilcot Inquiry into the war will interrogate the former Prime Minister over the devastating 'smoking gun' memo, which warned him in the starkest terms the war was illegal.

The Mail on Sunday can disclose that Attorney General Lord Goldsmith wrote the letter to Mr Blair in July 2002 - a full eight months before the war - telling him that deposing Saddam Hussein was a blatant breach of international law.

It was intended to make Mr Blair call off the invasion, but he ignored it. Instead, a panicking Mr Blair issued instructions to gag Lord Goldsmith, banned him from attending Cabinet meetings and ordered a cover-up to stop the public finding out.

...

The disclosures deal a massive blow to Mr Blair's hopes of proving he acted in good faith when he and George Bush declared war on Iraq. And they are likely to fuel further calls for Mr Blair to be charged with war crimes.

4. Incredible hubris was required to believe that his/their perfidy...

would not be exposed eventually!

That the truth is squirming out so soon must be causing all of these war criminals to freak!

How maladroit they all turn out to be in every possible way.

The gang who couldn't do anything successfully!

Not one damned thing...

What a bunch of inept clowns...

Soon enough these toadies and tools of the ruling oligarchs will be featured on the new hit reality show, "World's Stupidest War Criminals"!

Meanwhile the soulless, greedy, Military-Industrial "Complex" will continue to mortgage our progenies future to destroy, murder and bankrupt everything/everyone.

Ain't it all just peachy keen?

5. Will he go to jail? Please!
Perhaps he could be pressured to make deal and spill the beans on his partners in crime?

As an apparent and abject war crime abetter and enabler...

telling the whole ugly truth about his complicity is the only possible way for lap-dog Blair to redeem his now terminally tainted reputation for posterity.

Can you imagine the machinations that would be occurring if Tony Blair had been selected to head the Euro Union Council?

I imagine his culpability in these catastrophes, along with his servile alignment with the Neo-Con's agenda, sank his supposed candidacy.

Tony Blair has never shown, to my limited knowledge, any hint of heroic stature, independent thought or actions, so he will probably just fall out a high window in a tall structure or other inexplicable "accident" or suicide by pharmaceuticals.

The "puppet masters", the few thousand mega-beneficiaries of the capitalist scam, will be unscathed, and continue to remain largely unknown, or even imagined.

Actually a "dupe"!

Sorry folks, I screwed up somehow.

I am big enough to admit it. I wish there was some way of erasing all traces of "dupes".

O well!
