The Hypocrisy of the Right in America
The statement, "God told me to do it" is often said by lifers or those on death row. Few jurors bat an eye lid and judges rarely accept it as mitigation.

When the Fort Hood murderer is prosecuted watch stupid racists demand the restarting the crusades, watch how the far right will show that one man breaking down in an armed environment shows "America is at war with Islam". Watch how they will present his crime as "an act of terrorism on American soil".

If he uses this excuse, why should it be any more credible than countless other murderers before him (including George Bush)?
