such as just regular pants, shirt, skirt etc. it's not really religious as much as fashion so it isn't considered "demeaning" to wear it just for fashion. to do this with something like the hijab or yarmulke would be seen as offensive.

this is why you see indians wearing the sari and other indian clothing in america , europe and anywhere else outside of india.

for a non indian woman or man to wear indian clothing is the same as if an indian person wore jeans and a shirt.
