And who knows, maybe all of those Texas areas being in recovery would help Obama in that state in '12.

Has always seemed to do well,I just wish I could afford to live there again.

I miss Zilker Park,Barton Springs and Sixth Street.

I spent a lot of time in Council Bluffs and Omaha during the caucus, seemed just like my depressed little city, Stockton Ca. Actually now that I think of it, Stockton is a lot worse, way more abandoned and foreclosed homes, no real business or industry to speak of and the highest drop out rate and teen pregnancy rate in California.

Shit, now I'm depressed. Anyone want to move to Council Bluffs with me? I know some people.

As of several months ago, Stockton CA had one of the highest foreclosure rates in the US.

These are state capitals of states that did not have huge increases in spending before the recession, plus university and health care hubs (such as Pittsburgh).
