Terrorists come out in support of Scott Roeder
Several strident abortion opponents released "Defensive Action Statement 3rd Edition" that proclaims any force that can be used to defend the life of a "born child is legitimate to defend the life of an unborn child." The statement's 21 signers demand Roeder's jurors be allowed to consider the "question of when life begins" in deciding whether lethal force was justified.

Among the signers are Eric Rudolph, James Kopp and Shelley Shannon — all serving prison time for targeting abortion providers.

One signer, New Jersey anti-abortion activist Joe Provone, said Kopp, Rudolph and Roeder are "worthy of admiration, gratitude and respect."

"Not everyone possesses their courage or ability as we are all endowed by our God with different gifts and talents," Provone wrote in an e-mail to AP. "Please rest assured I will continue to protest the killing of the unborn in the way I deem appropriate given my own self-appraisal."

It's becoming more and more apparent these militant anti-abortion thugs are far from stupid. They know what a "not guilty" verdict in The People vs Scott Roeder would mean, it would mean that it would be perfectly OK to attack and even murder people because they're doing something that the first person thinks is illegal or should be illegal, not what the law says is illegal, and turning that person into a judge, jury and, executioner for the victim.

This is bigger than abortion. This is about the rule of law, something to Rudolph, Kopp, and Roeder are very much opposed to.

Anti-choicers have tried to tell something to the jury. We should too, and that message is, regardless of what you may think of abortion, a "not guilty" verdict would mean that people would be given the green light to kill people just because they don't agree with what that person is doing and do not be swayed by the emotional arguments of Scott Roeder and his defense.
