Care to tell us what, in your mind, constitutes "so far" left? What, too progressive? Too honest? Too ethical? Too anti-war? Too incorruptible? If real Democrats like Dennis controlled the Congress our servicemen and women would be home; we'd have universal SP health care; we'd once again be growing a strong middle class; Bush/Cheney et al would be under arrest......and on and on...

You got a problem with any of that?

12. personally I have problems with any supposed democrat that will vote against

HCR and the stimulus program-the war I could care less but when votes that are critical to the party's electoral chances in the midterms and in the presidential they have an agenda. With Kucinich I suspect jealousy over getting his ass kicked in 2008. If the democrats don't pass HCR then it will be used by the GOP as a sign of weakness and will be calling Obama a failure. Fuck Kucinich and fuck Stupak...I'm a Hubert H Humphrey democrat; half a loaf is better than none; the parts that are seen as lacking can be addressed going forward; pass something and work to fix the rest. When a 'dem' votes with the republicans then they are essentially republicans and we don't need their type. Every progressive should work to purge the party of the likes of them

17. Since DK and I live in a fairly conservative district, I believe he

votes against stuff, especially when his vote is not critical to passage, to stop the right from fielding a legitimate candidate against him...

Also, our district here on the West Side of Cleveland and including the surrounding suburbs, is going to be chopped up due to population shifts come the 2011 redistricting. He may be in for an intra-party fight by some very strong local political figures, most notably, Dean DePiero mayor of Parma...

The message writers before me obviously don't know what they are talking about period. For them to put Lieberman & Kucinich together can be only tagged as stupid!! Lieberman is a traitor, paid for by the pharmaceuticals and AIPAC. Kucinich is 180 degrees diametrically apposed to anything and everything that Lieberman is for. The two are like night and day. Lieberman should leave this country and go to the country he 100% defends and loves, Israel. We would be much better off if he did. Lieberman is against everything and would make a good Republican.

14. voting 'on principal' is not brave or productive

it's being petty and a horse's ass. Bill Parcells has a famous saying "you are what your record SAYS you are". Vote with the republicans to try and kill the most important piece of legislation to come down the pike since LBJ and you are no loyal democrat.
