2. Given the number of pathetic gerbils we went through
when my kid was little (I remember especially the one that died of some sort of brain bleed - the cage looked like the St Valentine's Day Massacre), I probably would have appreciated this thing then!

They look like some of the cat toys I have seen recently. Of course, I always considered cats to be perpetual two-year-olds.

6. At 60+ dollars each....
and the 100's more for the accessories....a lot of parents are going either have to be very wealthy...or run up what charge cards that are not already maxed out.

7. Pattern for a guinea pig ornament on this page
This is for a flat one to be made from felt. But it would be too easy to add a gusset to this pattern down the belly to fatten it up to a 3 dimensional critter to stuff and make into a plush toy.

What age group do you figure this toy is for?

He's a mild asthmatic, so this might be good. Our son's 9 yr old dog is the only pet/brother for our grandson.
