All the stuff I have to be thankful for far out weighs all the stuff that, if I let it, would
bring down a deep despair upon me...

I am thankful I have really good health insurance as I have amassed over $600k in medical bills over the last 5 years. This last stay in the hospital was billed out at $94k, not including doctors...

I am thankful for DU as it has pulled me back from the edge twice since 2004...

I am thankful I am self-employed and have very understanding clients...

I am thankful I have a woman in my life who loves me dearly...

I am thankful for old friends who have all seemed to come back in my life just at the right time...

I am thankful for a clear mind...

I am thankful that I have now gone 25+ years without a drink of booze...

I am thankful that the drugs I abused in my youth did no serious damage to my health...

I am thankful I had enough sense to stop smoking 24+ years ago...

I am thankful that even though I need O2 all the time, I am still in good health in every other way...

I am thankful for a pair of really good doctors who explain every thing that is going wrong and also what is going good...

I am thankful that I live in Cleveland (bet you would never expect that one now did ya) because the Cleveland Clinic has the best results with their Lung Transplant department...

I am Thankful that I have few regrets at this stage of my life when far too many people of my age start letting the regrets overwelm them...

But most of all, I am thankful to be alive and kicking on my 52nd Thanksgiving...

I get sentimental and sometimes think back to those early days when my mother, even though she was fighting a lethal form of breast cancer on and off for 15 years, still pulled in the energy to make excellent diners on all the holidays...

I miss all of the people who came into and out of my life over the last fifty years but I am thankful that many set examples for me that made me into the man I am today...

8. And I'm thankful you live in Cleveland, too.
People like you are part of the reason why it is not the hell some people think it is.

Happy Thanksgiving, WcGreen!

12. To WCGreen
First I must apologize for this intrusion. I will ask my question...and hope you dont think I am crazy...
I was looking on the internet for something special and an archived post from 2007 of yours came up. You posted a picture of a Bunny Nativity Statue. A statue that a relative of yours bought for their loved one. It was a subject of some jokes. I am one of those people who collect rabbit things. I have rabbits...yeah...I am one of those bunny people everyone was joking about. I really liked that statue. I was wondering if it was still around? Perhaps you could have its owner turn it over and tell me what it says on the bottom...the manufacturer or name of item, anything to identify it. I am looking for one of my own. Would they sell it? Please let me know. Thank you in advance.
