A few things she brought up:

This is a decision that SHOULD take time. Obama did NOT take too much time on this very heavy decision. She mentioned that Lincoln took a long time coming up with the Emancipation Proclamation. Also discussing Johnson's decision with regard to Vietnam (played a tape of Johnson's discussion with an aide). She doesn't think that the public will have the patience to do what those who are clearly swaying Obama's decision want to do.

She wondered what the GOAL is. The objective at this point is not clear.

So much else in this segment is worth hearing. Her son was in Afghanistan (he decided to join the service after the 911 attacks).

It's on now and what I'm hearing is a lot of free floating criticism and dire predictions and negative framing and there's no there there. Dishonest bs. Godwin is coming up now.

4. It was indeed - a few balanced comments, but Arianna, Gelb and the Politico dude

were really harsh, and often unreasonably so.
