PBS Newshour just showed the UK Iraq investigation. NO EVIDENCE OF WMD.
Of course we here know that. They showed two of Tony Blair's advisors admitting that there was no reliable evidence - then they showed a clip of Blair essentially lying, saying Saddam could call on WMDs within 45 minutes.

What is the liklihood of what is going on in the UK having some blowback to the US? Cheney, Powell, Bush all still out there walking around, as murders of countless people - Iraqis as well as armed forces members of US, UK and other countries.

Does anyone in the US even care any more?

1. Iraq is so over.
We pulled out, remember? :sarcasm:

Really though. Americans have been asked to sacrifice so little, well actually nothing, for these wars that people are removed from them and just really don't care. The economy is in the toilet and people are worried about losing their jobs or their homes or both. Of course, if we weren't dumping a bazillion bucks a day down the toilet for the wars we'd have money to really help people in need and not the just the damn banks.

3. The WMD episode proved once again that the public & media is very easily fooled into believing
anything the government wants them to believe. The consequences of that particular fraud will be felt for generations.

4. What? They were looking for WMD in Iraq?
Bush was searching for WMDs in the Oval Office! There are pictures proving it! :eyes:

5. unless they decide to prosecute some Americans for conspiring with Blair
I think the media will decide to ignore the Chilcot investigation. Too bad.

Good of The NewsHour to cover it a little, don't you think?
