2. Isn't that sort of a Chip and Dale scenario?
"After you!"

"Oh, no. You first. I insist."

"I couldn't. Please, you go first."

etc...

6. On Bill Maher, Todd said that covering Bush era abuses like torture would be a "distraction"
When Jeremy Scahill criticized Todd's lack of journalistic curiosity on such issues as torture, he cried out that it was a cheap shot. Todd is not a friend of the left.

9. Can't any RW venue be honest?
A while back, I pointed out that one RW radio idiot was having a "debate" in Cleveland on air ... about the Wall Street bailout (Oct 2008).

Now, this was in Cleveland ... but they had to drag a Dem (Tim Ryan) "supporting it" in from the Youngstown area (not exactly the hotbed of liberal Ohio), and a Republican (Steve LaTourette) who was against it ...

At the time, I noted that it would probably be more interesting (and more relevant) to have two other congressmen on to debate it ... Dennis Kucinich (Cleveland), who was against the bailout (apparently, that was the Republican viewpoint they wanted to project) could have been featured ... and long-time Medina (Still closer than Youngstown) Republican Ralph Regula, who was FOR the bailout ... (Regula was opposed in by one of our own, AWD)
