A caller to C-SPAN had an interesting suggestion...
He mentioned that Bill Clinton had left George W Bush and the Republicans a surplus and they ran up trillions of dollars of debt. He thought the Republicans should have to pay that back. All the money for the wars and the tax cuts, etc. They spent it. Now they need to pay it back. Now that is fiscal conservatism at its core...

2. There Were Democrats Who Voted For War, Too...
While I'd like to forget it...but there are over 5,000 reasons for me not to. Sadly there were too many Democrats who either were bullied or did the "politically expedient" thing to give booosh his war for profit.

I'll just take dropping the boooosh tax giveaway to the rich and put a surcharge on those who earn more than $250gs a year to pay for healthcare for all...and for the assistance and rehabilitation of Iraq & Afghanistan veterans who will live this ugly war for the rest of their lives.

5. And they should have to pay also...
Everyone that voted for the taxcuts for the rich and the wars should have to pay it back. Why should everyone have to pay for their mistakes??

6. Here's a start
find the billions of dollars lost in Iraq. How did they lose billions of dollars in cash? Give every U.S. citizen one million dollars.
Happy Holidays to everyone! :woohoo: Lift the gag order to discuss what happened to the money. :bounce:

7. I'd like to demand a return of the $75 million we pay in congressional salaries
for say the last decade! As a tax paying citizen, I say if those guys aren't doing business for the people, and it's become abundantly clear they are not, why are we paying them for every other interest buys them lock, stock and soulless barrel

I'd like to see the utility companies break down their customer base into 12 evenly built groups and spend the next year giving each group a month off of paying the bill. It's only 8% at a time, it shouldn't hurt them as much as they seem prepared to escalate the gouge and late fee game the banks have embarked upon.

When the monetary melee mirage was set on the stage late last year, I heard everybody squealing about where's my bailout. For me, the question became where's theirs? A great many corporate entities were enjoying ginormous profits, oil and gas, big pharma, the health insurance industry. Why weren't any of those guys prepared to chip in just a little and help stabilize the viability of an American public?

How about having all the tax breaks for the big corporations from states and municipalities across the nation revoked, retroactively, collectible now.

As for the shareholders and executive bonus baggers who view the bulk of us as irrelevant rabble. I envision a law that calls for criminal culpability to the tune of just $5.00 for every day they should be sentenced to.

But then I woke up!
