President Barack Obama looks like shit
Have not seen much news lately but saw him in the news reels yesterday. Wow he looks like a man with the weight of the world on him. 10 months into his presidency he's obviously a thoughtful, serious, hard working man putting in 38 hr days and more than a few sleepless nights. In contrast, his predecessor at this stage of the game was all over the media laughing and joking at the most inappropriate moments and being tucked in at 7:30pm with his blankie and clearly clueless on the intricacies of international relationships. (or even domestic ones)

Let us remember, for all our frustrations or disagreements, we have someone in the White House who actually cares about more than lining the pockets of his family and best friends. We have a man who genuinely and deeply cares about the people of this country and people in general. Let's tussle over the details but let us never forget President Barack Obama genuinely wants to do the right thing.

are you a personal friend? i wonder how you know this?

in the same way i wonder when people tell me about the inner character of movie stars & musicians.

we don't know. we can only judge what they do. and even then, without having all the context.

8. Shows your patriot side nicely
I wouldn't know Barack personally, nor even on a regular level as a citizen as I am not that. I am Australian and follow reports of him unzealously, yet proud of him when I can sense the good in him. But I can say after reading your comparative lines between the ex and the current that the effort is genuine and focussed. He must be fit, he should take better care of himself if he isn't looking the best and stressed.

What's his diet like? Does he work out or do a martial art? Meditate spiritually? Walk in nature? Get massages? Not as though he can't afford to. Ok so I am jealous of wealth as the opportunities in the past that have passed me when i could have them but didn't have the money as my ethics wanted to be sorted out first and held to in a convinced manner.

Now I am 31 and know what I am good at, what I can earn money in without too much damage to myself and stress levels, although I am frightened of another drop as I was studying graphic Design earlier this year until my stress and everything else made for a month off with glandular fatigue and adrenal up and downs.

I know how badly stress affects health so Obama had best get his priorities right and take advantage of what he has now as a body and soul and mind and emotions and get himself looking and feeling on top of the world.

hard to write as my dad has been anti US all my life and so I still battle that. I am openminded and far more accepting, yet judgemental of character more than country or any form of racism, and also a Reiki Master. Reiki is great to relax quite easily, and I highly recommend it to all.

9. You couuld have fooled me..
... he's spent 1000 times more money bailing out Wall Street than he has main street. Maybe he really believed Geithner/Summers but if he did that doesn't speak well of his intelligence.

I'm sure he's stressed because after passing his stimulus program and promising no more than 8.5% unemployment it is over 10%. And going nowhere but up. And apparently, he hasn't CLUE ONE what to do about it. Must be stressful.
