4. My first question is, How much does it cost per person in Iraq?
I would think the same as in Afghanistan. Take two out of Iraq for every one you put in Afghanistan.

10. abc news quoted a figure of $1million per soldier per year for afghanistan.
35,000 X $1million = $35Billion/year.
in addition to what's already being/been spent.

and i'm going to go out on a limb and call that a conservative estimate.

11. Actually not the same at all
I have been in both countries and there is no infrastructure in Afghanistan compared to Iraq. Almost no roads worth anything, water distribution systems, electrical supply -- all almost non-existent. Iraq is actually a relatively modern country that could afford these things because of their oil resources. Afghanistan has no resources and therefore no infrastructure. It costs the U.S. a lot to move troops and military supplies around the country. It also costs a lot to store and house them.

16. Were not allowed to ask that kind of question unless its spending on
everyday Americans.

Then it will be debated for months before being compromised down to less than what we already had.

18. We don't have to pay for the war.
Because we are going to make Obama stop, if we have to twist his arm real hard to do it. But it's up to us. We have to MAKE the war stop.

Taxes? Who needs taxes when we can just make people who don't have any say in it pay the bill later.

Why waste money on health care, schools and roads when you can funnel that money to defense contractors?
