He crossed a line, my duty is clear, I WILL PROTECT my friends and co workers

Early this morning a union member was negligent of his duties. He failed to make his assigned rounds. He placed several of my friends (union & non members) on the day shift in harms way by his inaction during a weather related event. My duty is clear. I will make a written safety complaint to management next Monday morning. Most managers are off until then for the holidays. As shop steward I will be asking for days on the street without pay as a disciplinary action.

It is along story I will fill in on Friday, my next day off. I just got home from a long hard day. I'm headed to bed.
