What has the guy accomplished as a senator? I'm seriously asking because I don't know. I mean, I know he ran with Gore in 2000, then campaigned for Rethugs after that and won re-election as an indie. Now, he's being a total dick about HCR.

I can't see him getting re-elected and would not be surprised to see him switch to the R party if he tries. Assuming his career ended now, would anybody care? Would he have done anything significant to his state or country? I really want to know, I admit my ignorance about him.
