Reminder - Tonight on Frontline - The Card Game
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/creditcards/

"As credit card companies face rising public anger, new regulation from Washington and a potential perfect storm of economic bad news, FRONTLINE correspondent Lowell Bergman examines the future of the massive consumer loan industry and its impact on a fragile national economy. In a joint project with The New York Times, Bergman and the Times talk to industry insiders, lobbyists, politicians and consumer advocates as they square off over new regulation and the possible creation of a consumer finance protection agency. How are the credit, debit and pre-paid card industries repositioning themselves to maintain high profits under the new rules? The stakes couldn't be higher as many fear the consumer loan industry could be at the center of the next crisis...

"It's hard for them to get a bill through the U.S. Senate when the industry is pouring money into Washington," says Martin Eakes of the Center for Responsible Lending of the banks' political clout. "As Sen. Durbin from Chicago recently said, 'The banks, even as unpopular as they are right now in this crisis, still own this place.'"

11. No Frontline on the schedule in LA tonight.
Not on KVCR, KCET or KCLS. Not tonight, tomorrow night or Thursday. Searching the KCET schedule into December, no Frontline. Frontline has dissappeared from LA.

12. If Congress will do NOTHING again....
Maybe the American People should stand together and send a big 'fuck you' to the credit card companies, by refusing to send anymore payments to them and sending their cards back. Everyone.

I know it would never happen, but could you imagine the credit card companies crashing to it's knees and begging the government to play hardball with millions of delinquent people. They would jam the courts up with the number of people and the credit score system would come crashing down too. If such an event were to ever happen, people could stand together against the Corporate Government and take back the Government from Corporate America. Sorry.... I got carried away.
