2. dowd's column was one of the sillier things written in a long time

His thesis is that Obama may be vulnerable because his job approval rating is "only" 49 percent. But he simply ignores Palin's abysmal polling numbers, including polls showing that an overwhelming majority don't think she is even qualified to be president. As much as Mr. Dowd might like to fantasize about it, it ain't happening. Even if Obama's numbers were to tank to the point where he was really truly vulnerable in 2012, the repubs will then nominate someone other than palin to make sure they have a shot at winning. Bank on it. Palin only has a shot at the nomination if Obama is doing well enough in 2012 that no repub can defeat him and only sarah is willing to be the sacrificial lamb

I'd like to see how she plans to continue having her name in the news for the next two years before the 2012 campaign starts. Maybe she could get shot out of a cannon into outer space? That would be a shot, wouldn't it?

7. I am sorry to report

that she has MANY speaking engagements lined up (through the Washington Speakers Bureau). Here in CA, she is scheduled to speak in Bakersfield (business convention) and the Logger's Convention. She is in high demand, and booked throughout next year (at least).
Guess she will not be spending time "progressin' Alaska" after all.
It will be all Palin, all the time for the next few years.
And the media will continue to cover her as the second coming of Jeeebus.

I will have to turn of the TV - she makes me sick to my stomach (literally).

She is a dangerous menace to the planet - reminds me of Joe McCarthy.

There are still several open complaints being investigated in Alaska, including one that is criminal. Should the Feds not take her away (in handcuffs, ala Blago), the IRS MIGHT. The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they are turning.

It is best to read the Alaska blogs and newspapers to keep up with the pending charges. In addition to being a loon, she is also a law-breaking grifter.
