With Landrieu's vocal opposition to the public option this week, I wanted to make another of these. These logos are among the top 15 or so of her campaign contributors, according to OpenSecrets.org. In all honesty, I was surprised who funded her. Of the top 20, most of them were oil/marine based or law firms, not health insurance companies. Unfortunately, ActBlue was there, too. But that's why I wanted to do this in the first place. When we see our elected officials, we should always remember who's money put them there.



In case you missed it, here's Blanche Lincoln, who I did earlier. She's been more and more in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. And in case anyone thinks I'm being sexist in only targeting the women in the Senate, I can just say I'm sorry. I plan to do Lieberman next, but after that, I'll do a man. I promise.
