Along the line of the "Christian Side Hug," I have a modest

proposal. Apparently, sexuality is the biggest sin amongst the wacko fundie sect of Christianity. Perhaps it is time to reintroduce an old Christian sect from Russia. The practices of this sect would solve all the problems of the over-sexed fundies in one clean sweep.

I refer, of course, to the Skoptsy sect. Perhaps some enterprising evangelist could re-establish this sect and renew the commitment shown by the 18th-century zealots who found a perfect way to eliminate sexual excess from their lives.

The advantages to the non-wacko denominations of Christianity are easy to see, as are the advantages to the population as a whole.

people. Many of them had gone through this, and for the same reasons as the Skoptsy sect members.

So, I guess the movement is still on...it just hasn't caught on yet with the wacko fundies.
