Okay, for months and months(has it been years?)we have had to put up with the asinine, narrow-minded, self-centered, puke-inducing, UNAMERICAN lies of ass-wipes like Rush and O'Reilly and Beck and Palin and Bachman. In days past, the hateful nonsense these and others like them spew into the American consciousness on a daily basis would have gotten them kicked off the air, their studios picketed and bipartisan(when it meant something) condemnation. Sermons would have been preached condemning, not applauding, such evil grandstanding.
And, every day, those of us who are trying to live our lives, take care of those we love and still find time to "fight the good fight", have to find our way through this daily barrage of political and religious obscenities. Its as though a pack of the world's largest St. Bernards precedes us from the moment we slide out of bed each morning until we go to bed at night: leaving fresh and randomly-placed steaming piles of "conservative opinion" in our path.
As mentioned, what started with the most blatant whores of talk-radio soon spread to Congress. For example, Sen. Cornyn(R-Douchenozzle)recently took to the floor of the Senate to explain---"as a physician", don't ya know---that not only did Obama intend to restrict women's access to life-saving mammograms, the Democrats proposed 5% tax on elective cosmetic surgery would tax their breast reconstruction surgeries after a mastectomy! Senator Cornyn(R-Asshat), quite simply, lied through his capped teeth about everything he said, while looking into the cameras on the floor of the US Senate. There has to be a special extra-toasty place in Hell for these duly-elected bags of pus!
Ah, but this has just been the introduction, folks; the prelude to my real "person of interest" tonight, Bishop Thomas Tobin. Where to begin?
This piss-ant in priest's garb was in the spotlight today---on TV being asked questions about Congressman Kennedy and saying that, yes, of course, any Catholic elected to public office should first be a "good Catholic" and then worry about representing ALL the people who elected them. Isn't this just exactly the obstacle that John F. Kennedy had to overcome to win the Presidency in 1960? I'm old enough to assure you that it was. "If Kennedy is elected" the bigots of that era joked,"Our coins will read 'IN THE POPE WE HOPE' instead of 'In God We Trust'." More recently, see:
http://wf-f.org/48DemsLetter.htmlBut, according to Tommy Tobin, a Catholic Congressman who follows the law---as he is sworn to do---even when it conflicts with his church's views, is involving himself in "scandalous" behavior. Your church would know a hell of a lot about scandal, wouldn't it, Your Flatulence?
And, while you claim you are not singling out Rep. Kennedy, you are absolutely "singling out" abortion from the list of "sins" and "affronts to the church" committed by Catholics in Congress, aren't you, Padre?
Has any "private communication" taken place between Rep. Peter King of New York and HIS Bishop or priest? Rep. King brags about being an "ultra-Iraq War Hawk". He boasts that he has "lead the way for the Republicans on Defense". He supported Bush's war of choice from Day One. Since the Catholic Church OPPOSED the Iraq War and scholars of Canon Law agreed it could not meet the requirements of a "just" war, I'm sure SOME Grand Poo-bah of your organization jumped all over King's skanky ass, RIGHT?
RIGHT?
NO?----------------then STFU, you hypocritical spiritual eunuch! When you open your cathedrals to the homeless and sell a few of those multi-carat pinky rings to feed the hungry, MAYBE you'll have a little credibility! Until then, stick to bingo.
