2. Hasn't he ordered one of his deputies to defy a judge's ruling?

There was an incident where a Deputy in open court stole a defense attorney's file from behind her back and removed some documents to try to hurt the defendant's case. A judge recently heard the case and ordered the deputy to make an apology, a light sentence considering he violated the 4th and 6th amendments. Last I heard, Arpaio ordered his deputy to defy the judge. I'm waiting for Arpaio to be charged with obstruction of justice.

It sounds like you live in that area and probably get local news (national media have barely covered this shocking story). Has the Deputy been fired? Has the deputy complied? If not, I would think the judge cannot back down and will come gunning for Arpaio if she's worth anything at all.

willing to defy the Sheriff. His political enemies tend to end up as prisoners in his jails. And prisoners in his jails have a nasty habit of ending up dead.

of Federal investigations, but they haven't really gone anywhere yet. It could happen, theoretically. I sure would like justice to smack him upside the head before he dies.
