The truth is that Landrieu was shamed into finally doing something for the good of her state. She was shamed into giving a nod to the lack of BASIC health care available to her constituents. The media is now trying to frame the demand for health care as one for extreme measures at end of life. Steve Whatshisname on 60 Minutes was doing this last night with a doctor. Yes, doctors need to be more judicious about end of life measures and families need to give some consideration to what is feasible and realistic for outcomes. However, what we are asking for is affordable basic health care for all. The media, the Rs, and some of the Ds are going to push this dungball uphill. We need to shove it right back down on them. BASIC AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE.

KO got that clinic down there last week. The need in Louisiana was on display for all the nation to see. The money she's been after has been the campaign contributions over the years, not the funds or the resources to help her people out. I think you are missing my point.
