Tea baggers attack family mourning loss of mother/unborn child

If you need any evidence that the tea baggers have no class you need to check out Kristen McQueary's column in the SouthtownStar.

Low Tea Party moment symbolic of muddy week

November 22, 2009
By Kristen McQueary

As a journalist covering Chicago politics, verifying information is like climbing a mountain of sand. With each step you take, the deeper you sink.

Last week while researching claims from a local Tea Party activist, I found myself asking a family for proof that they had lost an unborn grandchild.

The family, Dan and Midge Hough, of Chicago, spoke in favor of health care reform and in support of U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-3rd) at a Nov. 14 town hall meeting in Oak Lawn.

Their daughter-in-law, Jenny, and an unborn grandchild died recently due in part, they believe, to a lack of health insurance. They said Jenny was not receiving regular prenatal care and ended up in an emergency room with double pneumonia that developed into septic shock. Her baby died in the womb, and Jenny died a few weeks later, leaving behind a husband and a 2-year-old daughter.

Catherina Wojtowicz, of Chicago's Mount Greenwood community, an organizer for a Tea Party splinter group, Chicago Tea Party Patriots, falsely claimed that the Houghs fabricated their story. In an e-mail, she called them operatives of President Barack Obama who "go from event to event and (cry) the same story."
-snip-

Here is video of the classless losers we call tea baggers (Midge Hough speaks at 1:48)

23. "We expect of others what we expect of ourselves."
If someone is a liar, a conformist, and generally ignorant, they feel fine with it by convincing themselves that 'everyone else is too'. So they naturally don't believe anything at odds with their twisted world view.

If someone is caring, enlightened, patient, and concerned, they are shocked by the sort of behavior exhibited by the former.

I find so much of humanity disappointing.

4. I just googled that Catherina Wojtowicz and she threatened to shoot a blogger.
What a piece of work. Of course her facebook page has a sweet little ballerina pic that AIN'T her.

16. I looked at that page and the dialogue on there. UGH. UGLY stuff.
The pageowner that was threatened is a Tea Bagger, too, from what I can read. When they say this movement is fracturing and self-imploding, they're not kidding.

6. These are the same people that claim to be pro-life..
Of course money is their god when you get right down to it. Your value as a person is tied to your bank account and assets. Any human life that gets in the way of profit shall be extinguished.

A few decades ago, Teabaggers were the concentration camp guards.

7. That projection crap again
Whatever they are and do, they project on to other people. This here sounds a whole lot like a typical right-wing loony tactic that many of us are all to familiar with:

In an e-mail, she called them operatives of President Barack Obama who "go from event to event and (cry) the same story."

20. Seriously.
I hear the words "an operative who goes from event to event and cries the same story" and I immediately think of Phil Parlock.

Not surprising for people who hate people and progress, but they outdo themselves at times.

12. Freepers showing their expected level of sympathy:
When you seek to interject your dead relatives into a political debate it's quite reasonable for the opposition to challenge you regarding the causes of death.

Seems to me these people should have been tending to their daughters needs rather than just sitting around on their thumbs moaning and shaking their heads.

Leastwise I would definitely intercede on behalf of my own kids if any of them were sick ~ whether or not they were penniless.

I think this family and their Congresscritter are exceedingly cruel and thuggish to imagine that I should take care of their own abandoned youngsters. I didn't abandon them!

NOTE: It's an old custom among some Gypsy tribes to go around the neighborhood begging for money to bury a dead family member. It usually works because the Gypsies hold out the threat that "ol' dad, or what'shisname, will just lay there and rot because we don't have any money".

They make good on such threats often enough that people believe them. I expect Chelsea to do this when Bill Clinton moves on (him being an authentic Gypsy and all).

Are these people Gypsies perhaps?

\\\\\\\\\\

What does “double peumonia” have to do with prenatal care? Why did she wait so long to show up? Too strung out?

This is BS! Why didn’t they sign their daughter up for Medicaid where she would’ve received regular check-ups and the FINEST medical care the country can offer! If she had pneumonia, why didn’t she hie herself down to the emergency room and get treatment for FREE? She was pregnant? Was she stupid as well?

I don’t believe their KRAP for one minute!

\\\\\\\\\\\\

So what was she buying instead of prenatal care? Commercial real estate and super-duty pickup trucks, like that other Democrat poster family, perhaps?

And why did Democrats fight so hard to prevent unborn children from being designated as a "child" for the purposes of qualification for SCHIP?

And why didn't someone direct Jenny to the Medicaid Prenatal Care Assistance Program - PCAP - which went into effect in 1990?

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

This is what happens, when one side abuses tragedy for political ends. We've all seen these stories. I remember some kid used by his family to sell SCHIP. Michelle Malkin caught a firestorm for uncovering the BS behind the sob-stories.

We've been feed this crap for years and years by the Democrats. Anyone, who believes these stories is a fool.

Medicaid (that's just welfare, you know).

13. This is the kind of utter misanthropy that the nazis displayed.
Go ahead, invoke Godwin's Law, I don't care; hearing about this level of inhumanity makes me realize just what sort of an embryonic brownshirt corps these teabaggers are. If it was possible to eject these people from civilization altogether, I'd support it utterly.

15. I think we should give em a couple of states build a border around
them and let them have a taste of the country they think they desire. They will destroy each other and themselves. I am sick of them, they have no desire to try to make this country a strong country. They only care about themselves and their god, hunh sounds like the Taliban doesn't it?

Why don't these people just take over Texas, secede from the United States, and leave us the f*ck alone?!

27. We could give amnesty to the Texans that want to leave
Then when the country of Texas gets in a war with Mexico....oh well...there won't be any military bases and military personnel to protect them they will have to protect themselves.

In all seriousness...
What's sad is I grew up in TX and there are some amazing people there but the state is in trouble now due to it's leadership. I hope those that know that things have to change if TX is to have a chance will get into political power and make those changes.

Oh wait, I forgot obeying biblical law is what many of people like these want to force *other* people to do, not actually obey themselves.

such complete and utter lack of compassion makes me wonder how the human race has survived this long. I seriously want to vomit right now.

18. The media needs to interview these pieces of filth and ask them what is so funny
about a woman and her unborn child dying from lack of health care. Put them with their faces and names out on the public record for everyone to see what cold and heartless people they are. The world needs to know the names of such vile despicable human beings.

for the hatemongers they really are. There is no "patriotism" involved in their cause, only stupidity, greed and nastiness.

24. If Medicare was on the table now, would the reaction be the same?
I think our country has became more and more insensitive and uncaring as the years have passed. That is really the problem, we lack a sense of brotherhood anymore in this country, of caring for our neighbor. It is all about taking care of number one and every one for themselves. I just wonder if Medicare was on the table now, would it be given the same reaction? I can just see someone saying sarcastically, awwwwwww . . . poor old grandma died because she didnt' get heath care, too bad, so sad." Our sense of compassion has been replaced with greed. If anyone of these people could really think about what they were saying, they would realize it is about greed. But, thinking is not the strong suit of many people these days.

They hate abortion so much, but laugh at the death of an unborn child? They don't have a decent bone in their miserable bodies. WTF is the matter with these "people?" (rhetorical question)

28. What in the hell do they know about the woman and unborn child's conditions?
Not a damn thing! Those ignorant teabag mofo's ought to be ashamed to put the REAL people who share the REAL stories on blast like that. I thought that REAL patriots have a heart, but in reality, those bastards don't know what the REAL meaning of patriotism means. Now that's UNAMERICAN for what they are doing, and one day, they (the teabaggers) are going go down.
