Democrats defend Geithner on news shows this morning.
Diane Feinstein, Dick Durbin, and even Joe Lieberman were defending Tim Geithner, the Treasury Secretary, on Meet the Press this morning. Lieberman said that people liked to point fingers and look for a scapegoat when things were not going to plan. He did not think it was right to lay the blame on Tim Geithner.

Of course, most folks criticizing Geithner are not accusing him of creating the bad economy all by himself. They do not trust him to do what needs to be done to get us back on track. They think we need to change Geithner at Treasury so we can change course with a new strategy to create jobs and get our economy going again. They do not believe Geithner is the best person for that job. He did his job by saving Goldman Sachs and the big banks. Now there is more important work to do.

2. Not surprised
The same big money (GS) that has enough clout to pull the President's strings can certainly find all the Congress members they need to defend Geithner.

After all, they OWN Congress.

5. These plaster paris Dems better get used to the liberal wing raising hell.
With Big Ed and Rachel and Keith and a lot of other hangers on, if Obama is going to keep on with Geithner, he's going to have to put up with a lot of noise.

And it's going to get a lot louder.
