I was watching IFC channel last night and there was a repeat of a the controversy surrounding "The Life of Brian" there was a UK panel discussion from with JC (John Cleese) himself, Palin (Michael, not the other one) and some guy in a purple dress (C of E/episcopalian). It was entertaining, JC was bashing the Bishop (Fnaarrrr!). Taking the piss about how the church had tried to get bibles into Tibet six times each time only to be hit by a disater (landslide, earthquake, rain etc.). On the seventh they finally get through. Praise the Lord! was the cry from the God Botherers. JC argued that "the Lord" had just domne his best to keep the buggers out.
