Giving thanks for the Kennedy Brothers...
“I look forward to an America which will not be afraid of grace and beauty.”
- President John F. Kennedy, Oct. 26, 1963

It’s been 46 years since that awful day in Dallas when President John F. Kennedy was gunned down as he waved to onlookers from the backseat of a limousine, and some would say the United States never really recovered from that horrendous act of violence.

This anniversary of the 35th president’s assassination marks the first time that Sen. Edward Kennedy, the youngest Kennedy brother, has not been among the living to mark this somber occasion. Ted Kennedy died Aug. 25, 2009, at the age of 77.

2. Thanks for that reminder. First anniversary of JFK assassination without Ted.
How tragic for their family and our nation.

3. An anniversary without Teddy
Yes, I thought Teddy's passing deserved a mention today, given the date on the calendar. Thanks for noticing.

4. Important reminder. Thanks.
Those of us who are old enough to remember, will always remember where we were when we heard the news about President Kennedy being shot.
It is burned into my brain.
