Every time Gonzo said "what the American people have to understand" I felt like

screaming "A majority of the American people understand PLENTY, Gonzo. We understand you're a lying little rat of a yes-man." It seemed totally inappropriate how he threw that phrase around when he was supposed to be answering direct questions from the Senate panel. I guess even during a Senate hearing, the Bushco bunch have use their PR bullshit.

2. "what the American people need to understand" is a

phrase by bush & co used to mislead and talk down to all of us. Actually, when used by **** and company, the words mean nothing, it is just sound uttered to fill time and space in a speech. What makes this bunch think that they need to teach us something so obvious as the incompetence of this group. We know!

3. What gets me is how he said it to a Senate panel--just so patronizing and

inappropriate in the context. Yes, it's just another Bushco time-waster, but it's transparent bullshit (if that's not too much of an oxymoron!)
