Welcome to my neighborhood.
The University City/West Philly neighborhood of Philadelphia.

http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/real-estate/West-Philly-64849047.html

If anyone is looking for a place to relocate, we'd be happy to have you.

Great ethnic restaurants, cafes, a microbrewery, a farmers market and lots of community activism. What could be better?

BTW, we voted about 96% for Obama with 3rd party candidates equalling McCain's tally.

It's a great place for Dems and the Dem stronghold of a swing state.

1. It sounds great!
I'd invite you to Bangor, Maine, but you'd probably die of boredom/irritation. :hi:

5. It really is.
We'll be moving back home to Michigan next year, and I will very much miss the community here.

3. Morimoto's is on the other end of the city.
Easily accessible by public transportation though.

7. I've never been good with my north, south, east and west. bah.
I went to Morimoto's once and had the 10 course tasting menu. Damn it was good. I don't get to Philly often, but I have friends there and they are meeting there on black Friday again this year. I should go.

4. Jobs? Annual Snowfall? Winter temperatures?
My favorite area is South Florida. Next best is here in Central Florida. After that I like Atlanta, after that probably New York.
