Republicans put up billboard that tells people to "PREPARE FOR WAR"

The Lafayette County Republican Central Committee is proudly celebrating a new crazy billboard on I-70 near Grain Valley. It calls for citizens to "starve the beast" and "vote out incumbents" -- and if that doesn't work, "PREPARE FOR WAR."



Apparently, this new message replaces the infamous "They Are Coming For You!" billboard. Just another day for "mainstream" Missouri Republicans.

Funny how these sorts of signs never appeared when King Bewsh II was, you know, STARTING ILLEGAL WARS BASED ON LIES or ALMOST DOUBLING THE NATIONAL DEBT . . . or USING THE CONSTITUTION AS TOILET PAPER.

And it's "Revolution AGAINST a Corrupt Government". Man, if you're going to be hateful and fact-void asshats, at least get your "phrasery" right.

Perhaps it's a little Freudian slip. The teabaggers and their ilk are what's commonly referred to as "useful idiots"
When their usefulness has ended, those that used them will leave them twisting in the wind, hence the "revolution" part.

The owners of this country don't want revolution. Revolutions are messy and create uncertainty and that gets in the way of cash flow.

While there are a lot of rushpublican nuts running around with guns...most who talk big but are so self absorbed they'd never be able to agree on what their "revolution" or "war" is about. We're already seeing the teabaggers begin to splinter and the purity tests keep getting more and more bizarre. These goons know they hate everything, have no real solutions other than "cut taxes" (while still wanting their welfare checks) and "take government out of our lives" (real translation: let the large corporates give us breads and circuses and we'll pay no mind to how much they abuse us) and when things fail, blame the Democrats.

There are some of the great unhinged who are truly dangerous (more to their families than to society) and, sadly, all this over-the-top hate rhetoric that spews from faux noise and hate radio is sure to seed violence. Their "leaders" will hide under their beds in their gated communities and in the end many of their "acolytes" will be dispirited as their hopes of some big insurrection fizz into futher alienation. Some may remember the revolutionary rhetoric of the anti-war and other leftist movements of the 60s...and how well it worked in scaring people from demanding change rather than making it happen.

6. For people that don't understand history

they sure are trying to take advantage of it. They don't believe in the constitution, It's only a GD piece of paper, they confuse the Preamble with the Constitution itself, they can't understand the writings of the separation of church and state. Yet they milk tea party for all it is worth trying to present themselves as patriots. Now they are trying to tell the people in this country, that they should live free or die. I think it's underreported on DU. And it shouldn't be ignored. Listen to Levin, Beck or Savage. Go to the FReepers, just tonight about the cloture vote. We are taking this too much in stride. I fear that innocent liberals, minorities, gays and anyone else who is in the wrong place at the wrong time will be killed.
