she just issued a Facebook post that implies she didn't know people were still waiting to see her. I don't have the quote, but it was along the lines of "I have just been informed that there may have been many people who didn't get a chance to speak to me..."

To which I call "bullshit!" based on the fact that there was video of a mob yelling and booing at her bus. There is no way she didn't hear them, but she left anyway.

For everyone who is saying that it is not a big deal that folks did not get their book signed, those who are blaming the venue, think about this: many drove hours to get there, took time off work or school, stood for hours in nasty weather, got their wristband and purchased a book, but then, whoops, we're out of time, sorry. And finally, where did she have to take off to in the evening that she could not have stayed a little while longer to sign some books and shake some hands of HER SUPPORTERS who just bought her book? There wasn't THAT many of them left really; its not like it was hundreds. And its not like she has a job to get to (some of these people probably did, maybe even a second job). Did she have to go to bed? Was she off to an interview to promote herself? Or was it just "Welp, I got your money, I'm off?" This may seems like an insignificant incident, but it speaks volumes on her integrity and what her supporters really mean to her.
